Alis

“These True Veda products are amazing, I really do feel more able to cope with everyday tasks from only taking this for a couple of weeks. I previously purchased True Veda Ashwahganda and it wasn’t until I stopped taking these that I realised how much they were helping me.”

Thomas

“True Veda is amazing! Just got my order and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve spent a lot of money on other brands over the years that have been a complete waste of money, but True Veda is worth every penny!”

"We think of our #digestion in terms of what we eat, but what you put in your body is only half the story. The #mindfulness of eating — the way we eat —is just as important as what we eat. Changing the way we ingest food can drastically reduce eating related discomforts like gas, bloating and indigestion. It’s all in the “how”. Tips for great digestion: ✨ Eat only when you're hungry. Ayurveda teaches us that the digestive enzymes required to break down food are only produced when the stomach is empty. Here, it is important to differentiate between eating out of necessity and eating out of habit. As a rule of thumb, it take three to four hours to fully digest a meal. ✨ Eat seated in a calm environment. This is a hard one! But even taking just a few more minutes more has huge digestive benefits. When we actually sit down to eat, we can focus on the amount of food we are putting into our bellies and on chewing it thoroughly. As for walking and eating? People will only chew a couple of bites before swallowing, which causes the belly to do more work than the teeth. ✨ Take in the smell, taste and textures of your meal. Paying attention to the sensory details of your food matters. If you're not actively smelling and appreciating the food you're eating, your body won't either. When you take time to soak in the smells, textures and tastes, your stomach feels fuller after a meal, and having not missed out on meal because of a distracted mind, you'll spend the rest of the day a lot more satisfied. ✨ Eat freshly cooked foods. If your food isn't fresh, you won't feel so fresh after eating it, according to Ayurveda. That's because it's lost its prana ("life force" in Sanskrit), which can leave you feeling tired and sluggish. So skip the heat-and-serve frozen stuff and spend a few extra minutes putting something together. In five minutes you can have eggs & toast, oatmeal, stir-fried veggies... 📷 @animamundiherbals" - @elemental_alchemy
